Santa Cruz students learn about drinking and driving
LIVE OAK — What might have been a typical “Don’t drink and drive” seminar took a sharp turn Tuesday for roughly 100 students at Cypress Charter High School, who got to watch an actual driving-under-the-influence court case involving a UC Santa Cruz student whose blood alcohol level at the time of her wreck was allegedly more than three times the legal limit.
